Kramat Jati Market Remains Open After Fire

A fire engulfed 350 stalls in the Block C2 Fruit Sub-Wholesale area of Kramat Jati Central Market, East Jakarta, Monday morning, December 15, 2025.Perumda Pasar Jaya President Director, Agus Himawan Widiyanto, stated that the fire broke out at approximately 7:15 AM and was successfully extinguished by personnel around 8 AM. The blaze was put out following the deployment of 18 fire engines, supported by the use of 150 portable fire extinguishers and four hydrants.
